Remuneration policy

The remuneration policy is adopted by the Board of Directors and establishes the general remuneration principles within SAI Atlas Asset Management SA ("SAI Atlas AM").

The basic salary represents the fixed element of the remuneration and reflects the professional experience, the requirements of the position, the performance, the growth of the individual's capacities and skills, provided in the job description of an employee, as part of the terms of employment and highlighted by the evaluation system. The variable payment is optional and may include annual award schemes (bonuses given to employees during the holidays) and other incentive programs (increments). The funds and SAI Atlas AM do not pay performance commissions to employees.

The remuneration policy applies to all categories of personnel whose professional activities have a significant impact on the risk profile of SAI Atlas AM or the funds managed by SAI Atlas AM, including persons in management positions, persons responsible for risk management and those with control functions, as well as any employee who receives a total remuneration that places him in the same remuneration category as persons in management positions and persons responsible for risk management.

Annually, in the report on the activity of the managed funds, SAI Atlas AM highlights the total amount of fixed and variable remunerations paid to the staff for the financial year ended.

The remuneration policy meets the standards for an objective, transparent and fair compensation structure, in accordance with legal requirements. The remuneration system of SAI Atlas AM promotes a correct and efficient risk management and does not encourage the assumption of risks that exceed the tolerated levels.
